What can you expect?
Guests can expect world-class drug and alcohol substance abuse treatment from a compassionate team. Comprehensive addiction treatment services approach substance abuse issues with personalized plans as no two stories of drug and alcohol abuse are the same. Our holistic approach to treatment also involves healing each client by focusing on the mind, body, and spirit.
Within our intensive outpatient program IOP in Georgia, we combine the latest clinical techniques and a structured twelve-step immersion program for substance abuse. Throughout the IOP, you will work with our substance abuse treatment team of clinicians and staff who will help guide you through the journey to recovery. Combined with our other exceptional services, care, and serene environment, our clients are better able to fight their addiction and live a healthy, happy, and sober life.
Kennesaw Trauma and Addiction Center, also known as KTAC is located in beautiful Kennesaw, Georgia. This addiction center was created to provide help and guidance about substance abuse.
To improve your chance of recovery, our rehab program focuses on three major factors of treatment: your mind, body, and spirit. As one or more of these areas become unbalanced, they can directly contribute directly to your substance use disorder.
All of our providers are experts in their field and utilize specialized treatment programs for each individual. By developing an individualized approach for each of our guests, we can successfully break old habits and work to promote new and healthy ones.

Our Services
Mind
Substance use disorder starts in the mind. A variety of approaches are provided to guests in the rehab program to help restore proper cognitive thinking and processing. Healing is fostered by experienced clinicians through group therapy and individual therapy sessions using the latest advances in research in the mental health field.
The professionals at Kennesaw Trauma and Addiction Center (KTAC) realize that drinking and illicit drug use is only a symptom of mental health disorders and not the root cause. The goal is to have guests leave the program with an understanding of their disease and mental clarity that they could have never imagined before beginning substance abuse treatment.
Body
Drug and alcohol abuse destroys the body. KTAC treatment options help heal the body through learning how the body and mind are connected. We will explore and learn about positive coping skills long forgotten such as reiki, exercise, yoga and hobbies. (I know it's been awhile but those are things we do instead of focusing on our drug of choice). Those who enter the program begin healing on day one of treatment.
Guests at our center will have access to healthy snacks while on site. Guests will leave the program with a specific individualized plan to assist your body in healing.
Spirit
Our treatment program focuses on healing broken spirits and is one of the best treatment models in Georgia. Beginning with daily meditation, guests work every day, both individually and in support groups on reducing their egocentric ways, gaining discipline, and changing their perspective on life.
Guests work through the 12-steps as well as other modalities with seasoned and experienced staff members. By being given the framework to produce a vital spiritual experience, guests leave our substance abuse treatment program with newfound freedom and happiness they never thought possible.

We are a world class program because of our therapist. Renee has 27 years experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Just a little bit about her... she has worked with the Department of Defense while providing therapy with military members around the world. She understands how to help with complex trauma such as survivor guilt, PTSD and sexual assault. And, she is excited to work with you.
